Val Solari is a Berlin-based artist that explore the bridges between fields through her experiments with biological proceses that are part of her artistic practice.

Solari explores the possibilities of biomaterials (with focus in algae) when build with them a piece, and gets inspired by micro and macro organisms living processes. By observing their cycles, she explores the relationship between life and decay, micro and macro worlds, and the interaction of organic materials with industrial elements. Also explores the construction of organic skins and how they interact with the human body, starting because the healing properties of the algae. Her work observe and reflect organic patterns and how they might mirror other levels of reality and connections between others.
